ABC members learn disaster training skills
Would you know what to do in terms of providing immediate services if a major disaster struck this area? There are eleven people from ABC that are completing an 18 hour CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) program will be much better informed on how to prepare to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster.
Included in the sessions were training in the areas of: Disaster Preparedness, Fire Suppression, Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue Operations, Psychology and Team Organization.
Responsible for organizing the group from ABC in this service to the community program was Connie Anthony. Let us thank Connie and these people for taking the time to prepare themselves to help others in an emergency situation: Art Weirauch, Kathy Jensen, Bob Jensen, Bill Rich, Janet Rich, Cindy Holzhei, Sean Sprague, John Aleo, Jerry Staggs, and Bill Haynes.
Father-
The men of the church and their guests are in for a treat at the upcoming
father/son banquet on Friday April 11, at 6:30 PM. Elsie Bugbee said that she
is rounding up her crew to prepare and serve the men’s favorite, a succulent
Swiss steak dinner. Of course, the delicious home made pies will be on the
dessert menu.
The evening’s program will feature entertainment that will provide enjoyment for both the men and their sons of all ages.
Interesting Nonsense
