LIFE

Key Promise: “He that hath the Son, hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God, hath not life.” 1 John 5:12

This refers to abundant life in the here and now and it refers to eternal life in the hereafter. Jesus promised, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

“The gift of God is eternal life” (Romans 6:23). Therefore we must be faithful to God until the time of our death. “Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life” (Romans 2:10).

Praise God, for the life He gives to us...it never ends!

Hear my prayer Oh Lord and give ear to our cry. Hold not Your peace because of our tears, for we are strangers on this planet. This world is not our home. Spare us, so that we may recover our strength before we go on to the next life. Teach us to number our days so that we will apply our hearts unto Your wisdom. Help us to rejoice and be glad throughout the life You have given us.
